The First Nations gap
The housing experience for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders is marked by inequity.
This project is partly about examining the history that led us to where we now are, and partly about co-designing solutions with partners from the community, with the support of resources from broader Australia.

The first project is an exploration of First People's plant knowledge in a community garden established on public land in NSW. In this celebration of the power of plants and the knowledge of the ways in which First Nations people have used them, we're looking to integrate cultural recognition and experiment with applications to improve community outcomes for those who incorporate these plant varieties in their own gardens.
