1. About DwellTell

DwellTell helps everyone with an interest in a home to create and share relevant information about the place. It is currently in an early stage of development and features may change over time.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that takes place under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use DwellTell.

3. Your Content and Data Ownership

You own the content you upload or enter into DwellTell. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties without your permission. You may delete your content or withdraw your consent to sharing at any time, though we may retain backups for security and integrity purposes.

4. How We Use Your Content

We process your content to provide and improve the service, help you organise it, and assist in sharing information with people you choose. We respect your permission settings and privacy choices and partner with you to optimise your approach to engagement with others.

5. Optional Data Integrations

Some optional features connect to external data sources. If you want to activate them you will need to review and approve the terms of use. Some features incorporate terms that have been set by third parties. DwellTell does not control how third parties provide the service or set the terms. You can enable or disable your use of those services at any time.

6. Sharing and Permissions

You control who can view or receive any part of your logbook. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share anything you upload.

7. Beta and Service Changes

DwellTell is an evolving product. We may update or remove features, or temporarily suspend access for maintenance or improvements. We will aim to give reasonable notice where possible.

8. Accuracy and Reliance

DwellTell helps you store and organise information, but we do not verify the accuracy of content entered by users or provided through linked sources. You are responsible for any decisions you make using information made available on the platform. DwellTell makes no representation as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for your purpose.

9. Templates and Guides

Templates and guides are general in nature and are not legal or compliance advice. You remain responsible for meeting your obligations and seeking professional advice if needed.

Regulatory overlays are timestamped and qualified by assumptions and limitations. They are general in nature and may not be current, complete or fit for your purpose.

10. Concierge Service

If you choose to use the concierge service, you grant limited permission for us to help organise your content. We will describe our process to you and by proceeding, you consent to our use of your information for the purpose of creating your logbook.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload harmful, illegal or infringing content, or misuse the service. We may suspend accounts that breach this policy.

12. Intellectual Property

DwellTell branding, design and service features are protected intellectual property. You may not reuse or reproduce them without DwellTell's prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

DwellTell is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms restricts your rights under consumer law.

14. Closing Your Account

You can delete your account at any time. We may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention. We will keep your account data on our system for 30 days after you close your account so that you can recover it if you decide to renew your account.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of DwellTell means you accept the updated terms. The date of the most recent update is displayed at the top of this page.
