1. Our commitment to your privacy
Your home’s information belongs to you. You should have clarity and control over what you create in DwellTell, who can see it, and how it is used.
2. What we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, including:
- property documents and details you upload
- photos, notes and maintenance history you enter
- account and contact information for you and the people that you interact with via DwellTell
We do not collect or access any property information unless you provide it or you give us instructions to do it on your behalf, except that we may collect information from public records (such as title registries or maps) and may receive information about your property from others who have an interest in your property.
3. Optional data connections
Some features allow you to connect external data providers, such as planning controls, climate information or strata records. These connections are strictly opt-in and can be turned off at any time.
4. Who can access your information
You decide what to share and with whom. Sharing is permission-based and revocable. We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties without your consent.
5. How your data is protected
We use encryption and industry-standard security practices to protect your data in transit and at rest. Access to systems is limited to authorised personnel and only when required to support the service.
DwellTell is not yet SOC2 certified.
6. Concierge service
If you opt in to concierge assistance, you grant temporary permission for us to help organise your information. That permission can be withdrawn at any time. We do not make changes without your direction and you can make changes to our access at any time.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use basic analytics to understand how the product is used and to improve performance. If we show you promotional content, it is because trusted partners have indicated that a service may be of use to you. You can mute these offers in your settings.
8. Data retention
You may delete your content at any time. We may retain limited encrypted backups for a reasonable period for disaster recovery, security and legal compliance.
9. Children’s privacy
DwellTell is not intended for children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
10. International data hosting
Our services may store data securely in cloud infrastructure located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we ensure similar privacy protections apply.
DwellTell uses third party services including OpenAI, Supabase, Clerk, Google. Each of these services has data and security terms that may have an impact on your data exposure.
11. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your information at any time. You control your data.
12. Changes to this policy
If this Privacy Policy materially changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated policy. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of this page.
